Just speaking personally, but there's a different level of hype. The "Remake" was something that was hyped and teased since like... before the PS3 I think? So we'd been waiting for a while. And, it was also at the beginning of the pandemic era when I had little else to do. By now, we've already had a taste, so it's not going to have that same initial hype.
I'll definitely buy this at some point, but it's not something I need to have right now. Maybe the sales curve will just be different.
