Am I a total jerk if I say I would probably not give a shit? They are just people on the internet, you know. If I'm supposed to feel sad every time a random person dies, I won't have a life - as long as I don't know you personally, you remain a 'random person' to me. I'd feel like a hypocrite if I were actually sad about you, while all you were to me was an avatar and a username.
