Sorry but SMB 3 is definitely not perfection. A fantastic and groundbreaking game for the time but it definitely shows it's age now in many ways. I'd honestly find it hard to say it does anything better than tropical freeze. 2D platformers have come so far since that time and are still constantly trying new things and improving in so many ways.
