While I'd love for this to be true, the chances are between none to zero.

Last year we got the leak that the IPC increase would be roughly 10-15% and, while that came from Moore's Law is Dead, who has the same credibility of Red Gaming Tech (both terrible), at least he had what appeared to be an official slide to confirm it:

https://www.tomshardware.com/news/alleged-amd-zen-5-specs-leak-twice-the-cores-15-increased-ipc-over-ryzen-7000 (Zen5 is Nirvana/Eldora)

So, in this case, I¡d actually believe MLID's leak over this new one.

I hope they can at least top the 19% IPC increase from Zen 2 to Zen 3. Red Gaming Tech is saying he has 2 sources here according to the article, the first told him the 30%+, while the other source offered a more conservative estimate of "higher than Zen 2 to Zen 3", so higher than 19%. Out of the 3 sources here, MLID and Red Gaming Tech's 2 supposed sources, I hope we can at least get that middle of the road 19%+ increase, only 10-15% would be somewhat disappointing.

Well, the end products could offer more than that 15%, after all the slide does say 10-15%+, but I wouldn't put my hopes on it.

Also, and I admit that I haven't watched the video so I don't know from where do those sources get their numbers, the problem with the rumors/leaks is that sometimes they don't talk about a general performance uplift, but rather one set of tasks that see those huge gains. Zen5 chould/should come with an updated iGPU that would bring big improvements to encoding, even if not many people will find it useful as they'll likely have a proper GPU to take care of that. Or maybe it's about the AI capabilities of Zen5.

In any case, I'd wait until we get more leaks from other sources before we start jumping to early conclusions.
