What Microsoft should do is speed up the cert time for early access titles, it's early access, the consumer is willingly and knowingly taking the risk of major bugs and shit breaking, so it surely should not be as strict as a full release cert process, that way Palworld and other games won't be so far behind their Steam counterpart. Having said that, I've even read in the past about Windows Store full releases being behind their Steam counterpart in updates but I think Steam will always be faster just because of how relaxed they are, while Windows uses the Xbox cert process.

I'm not sure Windows Store should use Xbox's cert process though.
