Seriously though if you care about your profile, achievements and library then why not PC? Most Xbox 1st party is Play Anywhere.

If I remember right, the steam versions of the games requires you to use your Microsoft/xbox account - so if you have achievements from the Xbox versions, they will automatically unlock on Steam.

For Xbox single player games like Pentiment or Psychonauts 2, it's optional. You go to the settings and you can choose to login to your Xbox account to unlock those achievements. Obviously for Halo Infinite or Grounded, you have to login lol
