Personally, I don't care if HFR is released on rival consoles. On the other hand, it weakens the brand even more and risks lowering sales even further if it happens again for bigger games.
If one day Halo Infinite or Gears ends up on PS5, it would kill the investment people have made in Xbox and would definitely kill the brand in terms of home consoles.
