You said what I wanted to say, Lul.
I do think Switch is seen more as a complimentary device to high-end consoles, it competes with them but not in the same degree that Xbox competes with PS, or high-end consoles are a complimentary device to Switch, doesn't really matter what way you frame it. There's a huge share in people owning either an Xbox/Switch or PS/Switch but as Switch can't match Xbox/PS on power without severe downgrades to a game, it differentiates them. Nintendo themselves know it's useless to compete with Xbox/PS on this front so they opt for unique hardware but I don't believe Switch is seen to most as an "instead of" option but instead an "alongside" option, a Switch with your PC, a Switch with your Xbox, a Switch with your PS.
What I would argue for PC is that it's held back by a lack of accessibility to the general consumer, a bit of fear about building a PC, a lack of understanding of the tech, the high price and ease of access but if those things came down then I would argue that Xbox/PS would be hurt more by PC than Switch could hurt them. I believe eventually Sony will do day one PC releases as well. If someone has a capable PC then the need for an Xbox is lowered and slightly for PS as well, since these companies are releasing everything on PC now and if you argue that Switch users will just wait for Hi Fi Rush 2 then you can argue that PC users will just wait for PS exclusives, it's not even a case by case basis, they know everything will come eventually.
I believe if you have a capable PC it's easier to say "I don't need a PS/Xbox" because PC already largely covers what both of these two offer. If you don't have a capable PC then Consoles are more of a viable option but I don't imagine many will say that Switch covers what they need out of a Xbox/PS/PC because Switch offers a completely different experience to those options. I'd argue that Xbox/PS compete with each other directly and Switch/PC compete with Xbox/PS as well but they both compete with Xbox/PS on about the same level so similar arguments about Switch can be made to PC.
