Resident Evil 4 on the iPhone Pro doesn't even match the base ps4 version. DF seems to think it is 300p upscaled to 700p. Framerate is mostly stable at 30 fps.  Genuine question, given what we are seeing from the $1200 iPhone Pro on modern games, do people still think the $400 switch 2 is going to be comparable to the ps5?

On par is definitely a stretch but, DLSS and engines being so scalable will help make some pretty games on Switch 2. The mass market won't view Switch 2 the way you might, they will view it as a home and portable console offering similar looking games to PS5 and Xbox series. PS5 has to focus on getting games up to 4K while Switch 2 will offer some of those games at 1080p probably if they are more demanding, do you think millions of consumers wouldn't be willing to trade 4K for 1080p at home and on the go? This world is constantly in pursuit of making life more convenient, what is convenient about a gaming console you can only play at home? Thats what makes Switch 2 so interesting, it promises similar looking games on the most convenient platform along with the most successful first party games on the planet.
