Hello Xbox Community

This is my first Xbox! I had played the Xbox 360 when I was younger but it wasn't mine.

Congrats! Welcome to the Thread!

Also that's how I started, stealing my brothers Xbox 360

A few Xbox One and Xbox 360 games and I just bought cyberpunk phantom liberty.
I have plenty to do while waiting for Hellblade 2.

What game do you recommend to play on the Xbox?

Get Game Pass.

I don't know what multiplatform titles you've played so I'll stick mostly to "console exclusives" as this is your first Xbox. Although do you have a PC? Cause then you could have already played many of these on PC but I'll list them anyway, in case you haven't

Play through the entire Halo series via TMCC (Start with Reach, then CEA, 2A, ODST, 3 and 4) and then move onto Halo 5 (I hated the story but I don't like to recommend skipping important story-beats) and then play Infinite which is in a brilliant spot right now and arguably the best Halo at this moment in time in terms of the full package and overall quality.

Then the Gears trilogy, play Ultimate Edition then Gears 2/3 although they've probably not aged too well and there's rumours on/off about a Gears trilogy remaster so you could wait but eh you might be waiting forever if the rumours aren't true, it's a brilliant series, then do Gears 4/5, ignore Judgement, it isn't needed and is mid, I've heard good things about Tactics but not played it and it's a different genre.

Play the Fable trilogy (Fable Anniversary...Heard it was broken, I don't know if it has been fixed), Fable 2 and 3...I loved Fable 1/2 but 3 is kind of mid so you could skip it...I wouldn't say they're essential playing for Playground's Fable though as that is a reboot, aside from tone and stuff there's likely going to be zero connection to the stories of Fable 1-3.

Rare Replay is worth experiencing even if you don't like half the 90s titles like me, Lol. Hated most of them but in an odd way glad I experienced them and it has so many games in it that you will surely find one or two that you like. Personally I loved Conker but hate its gameplay in 2023. Love Viva Pinata though, it's one of my favourite Rare IPs, if not my favourite.

Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps are absolutely amazing and emotional.

Forza Horizon series is absolutely amazing and worth playing even if you don't usually like racers (like me) because it's just pure fun. Unfortunately Forza Horizon 1-3 are delisted, both Forza Horizon 4 and 5 are still available and of those I would recommend 5 simply because Mexico was a far better location than UK.

Hi-Fi Rush is amazing but can be tricky for some, has nice accessibility options though, I thought Starfield was a solid 9/10.

Sunset Overdrive is awesome but won't ever get a sequel.

Grounded and Sea of Thieves are 100% worth playing if you have someone to play with, less-so if you're solo although Sea of Thieves just added private servers and I don't mind doing the game solo but it's a bit trickier/slower than having a full crew. Full of hilarious moments with friends though. Grounded is an awesome survival which just feels more fun than most of those other survival games.

Oh, Killer Instinct is an amazing fighter with a helpful "noob mode" for beginners, which I took advantage of, Lol.

Heard good things about Pentiment, Flight Sim but never played them, likewise State of Decay 2 has incredible support post-launch and has a strong fanbase but I'm just waiting for State of Decay 3 at this point because I'm busy enough with newer games, Lol.
