How long will Playstation Last?

How long until the entire world has lag free high speed internet without having to be wired? Until then there will be a core base that will keep buying PC hardware and consoles to play games on local hardware for the best picture quality and lag free game play. I don't see Playstation consoles going anywhere for another 4 decades at least.

VR will also keep benefiting from local hardware, preferably inside the device. So maybe PS9 will just be a set of lightweight glasses that can be paired with a tv screen for local play, instead of having the hardware in a box Yet that's far future. VR/AR hasn't even started to grow yet.
