Lessons will have been learned this generation. Consoles with vastly better features will be implemented into the PS4 and new XBox. Online gaming being mainstream in consoles. Lack of system memory of the consoles has been a concern but developers have brought good games on both consoles despite the problems the consoles have.
I predict next generation the consoles will have system RAM of 4GB and more processors, 1GB memory graphics card included, HDD internal hard drives of around 120GB. Blu-Ray in the consoles could be the standard medium format. Unless there is something newer and better on the horizon.
