Diablo 3 takes my vote, played it a damn lot, and I liked it, but it's truly only a GOTY pick because of how lackluster most of the other stuff was.

Yeah, this year's list of games seemed kind of "meh" to me, especially after the really amazing list of games from 2011.  There were 5 games from the 2011 poll that didn't make the cut to the runoff round.  I suspect that if I had put these 5 "reject" games in a poll against the top 5 games from 2012, that a 2011 game would end up winning.  Hell, Uncharted 3 just barely got one vote near the end and it might end up winning single-handedly against these games, lol.
