Too many great games. I would choose Resident Evil 5, if it was in the list on the list.
Infamous was good too, if it was also on the list.
I also wanted to vote for Batman Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 2, Bayonetta, League of Legends, Assassin's Creed 2, CoD: Modern Warfare 2, Demon's Souls, Borderlands, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Final Fantasy 13 (well maybe not FF13 for it's linear and one-buttoned gameplay, but it was worth mentioning for it's hype and beautiful cutscenes/presentation for first time in HD).
It's too hard to choose just one for GoTY, I wish I could tick multiple boxes lol. The late 2000s exploded with month after month, year after year of great games. I think the best time in history to play games was mid/late 7th gen. Or from 2007 onwards. Or early-ish to late 7th gen. Or maybe just the 7th gen in general. I miss that generation soooo much.
