For me it's not just about gaming but app compatibility on top. I work from home so that requires certain apps for me to connect and do things which are Windows only. So for me, Windows will be involved no matter what and because Linux gaming isn't really all that great compared to Windows, it's like welp, may as well use Windows all the time. But least the Deck is different because of the suspend/resume and a lot of other OS improvements that makes Linux viable for it.
