Out of all the releases that Blizzard has done in the last 10 years I can't think of one that has gone to consoles. I highly doubt that blizzard will alter this strategy, as they have no reason to. As their games sell by the truckload anyway. They'd only make a shift to consoles if their pc business floundered and considering they're the biggest single pc games developer in the world I don't think they're in danger of that.

Didn't they release Diablo for the Playstation or did someone else do that? Also, I haven't played Diablo online for years, I thought those games were free online anyways. Sorry. just kind of confused myself a little.

Diablo and Starcraft were released on consoles but the porting was outsourced, so Blizzard had nothing to do with with the ports. And yes, Diablo has free online and it's integrated into Battle.net.

Another thing to consider is Battle.net, which would be almost impossible to be developed on consoles and there's no Blizzard games on consoles that support Battle.net. Furthermore, the next major overhaul of Battle.net will feature an optional subscription, and we know how Blizzard feels with how console manufacturers want a piece of subscriptions' money.
