NVIDIA Blackwell B100 GPUs To More Than Double The Performance of Hopper H200 GPUs In 2024

In Ai performance that is

NVIDIA introduces Hopper H200 GPU with 141GB of HBM3e memory

MI300X still has the lead with 192GB of Vram at 5.2TB/s vs 4.8TB/s on Hopper but it is certainly a lot closer. But the question will be how is the performance in other areas. And of course, when will they release MI300X?

AMD will probably launch the MI300X doing the same thing Nvidia did in that benchmark above, running something with a comically large batch size to horribly bottleneck the previous generation/competitor.

So expect some performance claims completely trouncing even the 141GB Hopper model.
