Twilight Princess, Oblivion and Final Fantasy XII are my top picks for that year. all excellent games. I've been wanting to play Okami but have never found the time to play it. it's still sitting in my steam library.
I think I would go with twilight princess because I think it's the most well designed among these games and it has the fewest flaws. Plus it my favorite Zelda game.
Edit: Also thought Dark Messiah deserved a mention. It's one of the few games that did first person melee combat right.
