I actually have not played Village.
Revelations, 5 and 7 is the only RE games I have spent significant time on. Tried some of the older titles but did not enjoy them. Have RE2 remake in my backlog.
The game that matches the feeling I get from playing RE4 the best is The Last of us and strangely Diablo 1. While The Last of Us at least is in the same genre the gameplay are quite different and Diablo is pretty much as comparable as Tetris.
