The Switch 2 won't change the number of ports it gets based on the improved hardware alone.
The hardware is just an update to keep pace with Microsoft and Sony and having hardware feature parity. (I.E. Like the Switch is to the current Xbox One and Playstation 4.)
It's still going to be slower... And DLSS isn't a secret sauce that will erase that gap, Nintendo is a handheld company and using mobile hardware comes with a large array of compromises in terms of performance and capability.
Where we SHOULD see increased support is ironically with probably Microsoft who has shown commitment to better support Nintendo's hardware.
