RE2 Remake got nominated because it was a great game in an otherwise weak year (2019). But Sekiro >>>
FF7 "Remake" also got nominated in 2020, which was a very strong year for Playstation exclusives, but a rather weak one for everything else.
A remake making the top 6 in 2023 will be much harder coz the year is stupid stacked. I guess you could argue the same against an indie like Sea of Stars.
