Omg Yes.

I love Halo's universe but one of the major sticking points for me is how other species are put into the background, like Halo 2 had a rebellion from the Elites, Hunters, Grunts, Jackals, etc. Then Halo 3 they f*cking vanish aside from the Elites (one of many issues in a very clearly rushed story), in Halo 4 we don't even see any friendly Elites, in Halo 5 we assist Arbiter which is arguably the best part in the entire Campaign and then Infinite we're alone again.

I loved Infinite, and Halo 4 but Halo's universe just feels smaller when it's constantly focused on human, human, human. I want like Mass Effect before Mass Effect also made it all about humanity, Lol. I want allied Elites, Brutes, Hunters, Jackals, Grunts, etc. I want to explore their worlds, I want to help them fight their wars, I want humanity to form political relationships with them. Doesn't have to be done in the mainline, could be done in a spinoff.

But there's no reason why Infinity for example, couldn't have had Elites on it, why we couldn't have ally Elites in Halo 4 on Infinity, a very simple explanation would be that in an effort to boost political relationships and trust, Arbiter sent some of his Elites to work in UNSC and in return, humanity sent some of their Spartans to work in the Swords of Sanghelios.

Please stop making it all about humanity, Lol. There would be no humanity if Elites didn't save their asses.

I'll lose my mind if Humanity solos The Banished, Lol.

You could tell so many more videogame stories if you open it up more than just "every single species is here for me to shoot" They've done that in books, but I want it in my games too, the games still feel like every former Covenant species is just full of bastards and they're all cannon fodder for Chief to shoot at. The Grunts, the Jackals, The Hunters still have little depth to them in the videogames (not in the books).

The Elites have their depth since they were a core ally in Halo 2/3 but they could have a lot more done for them and stories to be told about them, the Brutes have some depth since they're now a main enemy, although it wasn't much until Atriox, Halo 2-3 Brutes can basically be summed up as "angry idiots" while Atriox is smarter, calm and has an actual plan.

An Arbiter spinoff in the wake of The Banished's growing influence could work, Arbiter in an effort to help humanity (again) is travelling across the galaxy, finding allies, from the pirate factions of the Jackals, to atoning for the injustices done to the Grunts and Hunters by the Covenant and then bring in the Children of Oth Sonin with Lydus as he is also very different to Tartarus and Atriox.

Show that the other species aren't just a collective mass all following the same ideals.
