This Lies of P Mod introduces accurate vertical mouse movement
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/this-lies-of-p-mod-introduces-accurate-vertical-mouse-movement/
Modder ‘zetto’ has released a must-have mod for Lies of P that introduces accurate vertical mouse movement. This mod is a must for everyone who plays this latest Souls-like game with the keyboard and mouse.
For those unaware, the vertical mouse sensitivity in Lies of P does not match the horizontal one. No matter how you tweak the in-game settings, you cannot get an accurate mouse movement. And, thankfully, this mod addresses this issue.

Red Dead Redemption 2 gets a physics ragdoll overhaul mod
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/red-dead-redemption-2-gets-a-physics-ragdoll-overhaul-mod/
Modder ‘GEOLOGIST’ has released an amazing new mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 that aims to overhaul its physics ragdolls. This mod will make the deaths of all enemies and NPCs more cinematic, and below you can find a video that showcases it in action.
Going into more details, this mod allows NPCs to grab their head and stumble around when shot in the head. NPCs can also freeze, look down at the wound, and then stare at the player when shot in the abdomen.
The mod also introduces different reactions when shot with different ammo types, and allows NPCs to instantly fall down when knocked out. Moreover, NPCs will fall down or stumble around for a bit when hit with a throwing item.

This Starfield Mod introduces a dynamic weather system
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/this-starfield-mod-introduces-a-dynamic-weather-system/
Modder ‘Ainsy’ has released a really cool mod for Starfield that introduces to the game a dynamic weather system. This mod changes the weather automatically as you play, even allowing new weather variations in different climates/biomes.
The Starfield Dynamic Weather Mod will activate automatically in-game, allowing the weather to change on the fly as you play. This mod allows a huge variation in weather cycles, even in areas that don’t allow that climate. As such, you can expect to see thunderstorms, sandstorms, rain, snow, and beautiful sunny variations.
This mod comes in three versions; slow, medium, and fast. Slow transitions are for people who like longer weather transitions, medium is average and the recommended version, and faster is for people who want the weather to change a lot quicker than usual.
There is also an optional “Realistic” version that stays true to the game’s original biome weather cycle, but with increased speeds to make the weather more dynamic and enjoyable.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage gets a DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mod
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/assassins-creed-mirage-gets-a-dlss-3-frame-generation-mod/
Modder ‘PureDark’ has released a DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mod for the latest AC game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This mod will allow owners of RTX 40 series GPUs to take advantage of Frame Generation in order to further enhance their experience.
By default, Assassin’s Creed Mirage supports NVIDIA DLSS 2, AMD FSR 2.0 and Intel XeSS. And, we don’t expect to see any official support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation. After all, Ubisoft has partnered with Intel for this game.
Now what’s also cool about PureDark’s Mod is that it also removes the annoying Chromatic Aberration effect. So yeah, this is a pretty cool mod as Ubisoft has not currently included any setting to disable CA.
Now as with most of PureDark’s DLSS 3 Mods, this is available exclusively to his patrons. In other words, you’ll have to subscribe to his Patreon in order to download it.

New Fallout New Vegas Mod fixes and improves its AI
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/new-fallout-new-vegas-mod-fixes-and-improves-its-ai/
Now here is something that passed under our radar. Earlier this Summer, modder “Inthegrave” released a new mod for Fallout New Vegas that attempts to fix and improve its AI.
As the modder noted, Improved AI (Navmesh Overhaul Mod) fixes and improves vanilla game pathfinding errors. Furthermore, it provides a better and more challenging experience with the AI. Thus, if you plan to replay this Fallout game, we highly recommend giving it a go.
Going into more details, the mod introduces better pathing and attempts to eliminate NPCs walking into walls and other objects. NPCs will now more frequently seek cover, and melee attackers will better navigate the environments. Not only that but it optimizes vanilla navmeshes for better performance.
Fallout New Vegas Improved AI (Navmesh Overhaul Mod) also fixes some vanilla game navmesh errors. Moreover, it fixes sunken nodes which can lead to NPCs being stuck in the ground, as well as unfinalized cells and mismatched borders that prevent NPCs from navigating.

Take a look at Need For Speed Most Wanted with RTX Remix Path Tracing
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/take-a-look-at-need-for-speed-most-wanted-with-rtx-remix-path-tracing/
YouTube’s ‘Big Boy’ is currently working on an RTX Remix Mod for Need For Speed Most Wanted, aiming to add Path Tracing effects to it. And although there is no ETA on when it will come out, the modder shared a new WIP gameplay video.
In this video, Big Boy showcases the game’s new lighting system. The modder needs to fine-tune the colors but he claims that it’s close to final.
Now as you’ll see, the biggest issue right now is the low-quality textures. Need For Speed Most Wanted came out in 2005 and has really blurry textures (by today’s standards). So here is hoping that Big Boy will use an AI tool in order to overhaul them. Furthermore, the modder plans to implement displacement maps (as the latest version of RTX Remix has added support for them).
>> You'll be able to check the progress thanks to its 2:34 minutes video.

This Cyberpunk 2077 Mod enables ragdoll physics for all finishers
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/this-cyberpunk-2077-mod-enables-ragdoll-physics-to-finishers/
Modder ‘Kvalyr’ has released a new mod for Cyberpunk 2077 that enables ragdoll physics for all finishing moves. Thanks to this mod, enemies will no longer behave like stiff models, and they will no longer clip through world objects or float in the air.
According to the modder, there is a check in the base code to disable ragdoll-ing (and collisions) for NPCs killed by finishers. So, basically, this mod disables that check for an NPC being in a finisher workspot in the `CanRagdoll` function.
In order to showcase these ragdoll physics to finishers, Kvalyr shared the following videos.
The first video is without the mod whereas the second one is with it. Notice how the enemy no longer clips through the bar.

A heroic Starfield modder just straight-up deleted those repetitive temple 'puzzles' from the game
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-heroic-starfield-modder-just-straight-up-deleted-those-repetitive-temple-puzzles-from-the-game/
Without getting too deep into spoiler territory for those who haven't played much Starfield yet, there's a quest line in the main story involving temples. The first temple has a sort of puzzle inside that takes a few minutes to figure out, and there's a nice reward at the end of it.
When I finished my first temple mission I thought "That was cool." But that was my first temple mission. Thing is, there are more temple missions—24 of them altogether—and they're all 100% identical. The puzzle, which is barely a puzzle to begin with, never changes. It's like the temple and its contents were copy-pasted onto different planets, and it just becomes a mindless, time-sucking chore.
But that chore is now over forever, thanks to modder johndoebowler who created a mod called No More Temple "Puzzles." (Yes, they added those sarcastic quotes.) Now you just step inside each temple and wait a few seconds, get your reward, and bail. Nice.
