"Same price range" is a bit of a vague statement there, TBH.
That being said, I hope the 4080 does drop in price because it will age poorly at current prices. 50% more RAM and 60% more cores for the 4090 vs. the 4080 is a huge gap that's kind of being masked by engine and CPU bottlenecks right now.
