Super Metroid!!!!
This game made me go from a causal gamer to a hardcore gamer. Donkey Kong Country was revolutionary and really brought in a lot of gamers and deserved attention. But Super Metroid gave me the most incredible and immersive gaming experience of my entire life. I felt like I was deeper and deeper into becoming part of the story, the more I played it. By the end, I felt like I had become super samus. I loved whipping out the awesome powers. It felt incredible.
