An upcoming tactics roguelike will see you take the sticks of a giant robot and do battle with interstellar Archangels come to obliterate humanity's cities. Massive Galaxy Studios' Arc Seed will be a combination of turn-based tactics and deckbuilding combined with longer-term roguelite strategy requiring you to upgrade and coordinate the defenses of your city.

Darktide's new talent trees let you throw an 'Ogryn-sized' grenade with a blast radius of 16 meters
https://www.pcgamer.com/darktides-new-talent-trees-let-you-throw-an-ogryn-sized-grenade-with-a-blast-radius-of-16-meters/
If you drifted away from Darktide because it frontloaded all the most fun stuff into its opening hours, Patch 13 might be the one that makes you come back. Fatshark has posted a deep dive into the talent trees in advance of the class overhaul coming on October 4, and they include some pretty neat powers. Each of the classes is getting a tree that branches across three broad archetypes, with plenty of opportunities to bounce between and differentiate within them as you level up.

David Szymanski's 2018 shooter, Dusk, was one of the vanguards of the retro FPS craze, and it's still a tough one to beat. But just five years after launch, its creators are adding the option to make it a little less retro—Dusk HD got its first big showcase since a tease in the 2022 PC Gaming Show at this year's Realms Deep event.

Try to remain calm but Factorio is adding elevated trains

Try not to scream, cry, or vomit, but the upcoming expansion to Factorio will add elevated rail lines capable of crossing over not just other rails, but factory components as well. This past week's Factorio Friday Facts blog went through the design process for how Wube Software arrived at this huge change to how Factorio works and why they decided to implement it this way.

The Drifter is a point-and-click adventure that's also a fast-paced thriller
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-drifter-is-a-point-and-click-adventure-thats-also-a-fast-paced-thriller/
When you think "point-and-click adventure" you probably think of something a bit sedate, something you play with a hot drink near at hand while taking plenty of pauses to mull over what you're going to do next. The Drifter is not that kind of adventure game.

10 years after launch, one player has nabbed every one of Final Fantasy 14's 2,751 achievements
https://www.pcgamer.com/10-years-after-launch-one-player-has-nabbed-every-one-of-final-fantasy-14s-2751-achievements/
Final Fantasy 14 has accumulated an awful lot of achievements in its decade of life: 2,751 of them to be exact. Some of them are simple enough—just play through the story, level up some classes, do an event or two—while others require hundreds of hours or even years to earn. Earning all of them would take some serious time and dedication, which would explain why nobody has ever managed to reach 100% achievement completion. Until now, that is.
>> Holly cow, that's a lot of achievements.

Published by Paradox Interactive and developed by new studio Channel 3 Entertainment, Foundry drops you on an infinite, procedurally-generated world and tasks you with building a stupidly large factory. It's a voxel deal, and Channel 3 boasts that every block can be destroyed or replaced with either buildings or new terrain, so you can terraform the place as well as covering it with industry.

Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have become so desperate for information they've convinced themselves that the moon is teasing an upcoming reveal
https://www.pcgamer.com/grand-theft-auto-6-fans-have-become-so-desperate-for-information-theyve-convinced-themselves-that-the-moon-is-teasing-an-upcoming-reveal/
We're all far too familiar with the feeling of sheer desperation when waiting for information on our favourite upcoming game. I've been guilty of it, too—combing through trailers frame-by-frame, and devouring every Discord and Reddit theory I can find. Something I can't say I've done is determine that the moon (yes, the actual real-life moon) is pivotal to an upcoming reveal. You know who can say that, though? A handful of fans who are eagerly awaiting Grand Theft Auto 6.
>> You have to give them credit, they have a lot of imagination. Just like conspiracy theorists.
