Depends on what is exciting

A useless metric but some people love it). It's below average yes, but I'm sure you can find worse years in Sony's 30 years in the console business. Curiously, 2020 and 2022 are often touted as their best years. Spikes! The pattern will break as I have a feeling 2024 will be even worse. At least 2023 had GT7 VR, a Horizon expansion, and Spider-Man 2. 2024 looks bleak in terms of Sony developed (not published) titles, but hopefully it's a case of Sony no longer announcing games many years in advance and we will be getting a surprise or two. |
I have the opposite feeling.
Concord, Helldivers 2, and possibly Wolverine seem likely from announced.
Unannounced could include some Santa Monica, Team Asobi, Sucker Punch; maybe some others.
