While I agree that Ada should have come with DP2.1 regardless, I don't really feel bad in a case like this where not even the 6090 will be able to drive a monitor like that. Like if you have a 7900xtx, not only will your idle power consumption will go skyrocketing but you need to enable FSR in ultra performance mode which is terrible. Idk who this monitor is for lol. Maybe if you want to play 4k on one half and run discord on the other half.

Sorry but isn't the higher refresh of monitors useful for, for example, reducing ghosting even if the card powering it isn't fast enough to match the frequency with new fps-es? That was the whole point of those screens.

Also, who cares, 120 Hz vs 240Hz is something not many will notice unless they're actively trying to find a difference while using that UFO test. In a normal game session you'll be very hard pressed to notice it.
