My one true fear, is that the day Gabe dies, there is one scenario I can imagine where his Son doesn't care to take over the company, or someone managing to get Valve to open up and go PLC, and if it ever did, I know damn well that MS would be first in line to buy their way inside, followed very closely by Tencent (I don't see Epic buying any part of Valve).
Either way I hope no one buys Valve out, because that would make for the worst possible scenario for PC gaming and a dark blot on it's history.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
