What I'd say though is that these slides were never meant for public use and we're missing the full picture.

I still think Microsoft will copy Sony's detachable disc drive solution in some manner for mid-gen but if they don't discontinue the Series X disc model then it's completely irrelevant what they do as it's the same dang console. I do think next gen Xbox will be digital only because by then we're going to be looking at a very small minority of gamers, especially on the Xbox platform.

But I also think the internet would blast Microsoft for it if they went first so perhaps they should wait for Sony to go first, Lmao.
