I think people read too much into this.
First, it's now clearly outdated but even if we look at things with 2020 minds it still just discussing opportunities, possible even improbable future opportunities, and current positions. They did not mention any attempts or any will to make attempts in the current context.
The last part only highlights how improbable it is, so it transpires to me as not now but you never know.
The only thing truly concrete here is, communication for better collaboration which I'm all for. It's such collaboration that allowed GoldenEye 007 remaster to finally be released on xbox and the original to also be released on Nintendo service.
