The last time I played CP 2077, about a year after it released, it was still broken (had a quest I couldn't complete), so obviously for me right now, Starfield > CP 2077. Maybe I will go back and give Cyberpunk another chance now that they releasing the new huge free update to the base game alongside the new paid DLC, and I may even buy the DLC in an Xbox sale at some point. |
I decided to go back and really give CP2077 a try after the 1.6 update and the Edgerunners anime released last October. Nearly 2 years after the game released. It was fantastic!!! Hollow RPG experience for sure and the open world is sorta artificial. Like you can only go into a building if there's a quest. So like 85-90% of the buildings in the game are completely closed off. And the open world is VERY GTA in nature.
But the combat, soundtrack, upgrades, skill trees, memorable side quests and characters, was all phenomenal! I put about 160 hours into the game after 2 full playthroughs. If I had to describe CP2077 in one word. It would be: cool
It was just such a cool game to experience! Main story is okay, nothing to write home about but the game itself is still worth experiencing.
