Didn't expect the 4070 to drop that hard so fast, retailers or NVidia seem really scared of the new duo in town. It's shitty, but this doesn't have to mean that they'll forget other customers. In fact, AMD is now putting AI processors into their chips, so technically she could claim they're already focusing on it... |
It makes sense because we have seen Nvidia responding to stiff competition various times in the past. When Turing launched for example and had shit prices, you had AMD come out with RDNA 1 and Nvidia responded by releasing their Super line at more competitive prices. Contrary to what people may think after Nvidia is making bank on Ai, Nvidia does not want to lose their market position in the consumer space so if there is stiff competition, they will respond as they always have. It's just when there is no competition, they won't go out of their way to release great value products. 4060 Ti 16GB also dropping to $450 or less.
And yea, I do that meme for when Jensen says it as well.
