Publisher and Runescape developer Jagex is calling time on Space Punks, a 2021 co-op looter shooter developed by Polish studio Flying Wild Hog. The game has been de-listed on the Epic Game Store, players who've made in-game purchases are to be refunded, and existing accounts will remain active until the servers are closed on November 6.

Armored Core 6 PvP evolves into its true form as players drop their weapons and fistfight to the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance soundtrack

Armored Core 6 players haven't taken long to strip back the hood and get tinkering with FromSoftware's mech extravaganza, but a new trend in PvP really does leave everything on the table. PvP in AC6 is usually a matter of giant mechs circling and zooming around each other from a distance as near-endless amounts of ordnance flies both ways: it's fast, explosive, and a ton of fun.
But what if, and hear me out, the mechs just punched each other instead?

Baldur's Gate 3 crossplay is on the way, but Larian says 'we don't want to put a date on it until we're sure'

Baldur's Gate 3 is now available on PC and PlayStation 5, and an Xbox version is on the way too. And while you can't currently play with your pals on other platforms, Larian director of publishing Michael Douse told Eurogamer that someday, you will.

Starfield lets you be a total faction flip-flopper, so don't worry about pissing anyone off
https://www.pcgamer.com/starfield-lets-you-be-a-total-faction-flip-flopper-so-dont-worry-about-pissing-anyone-off/
As I wrapped up the Freestar Rangers questline in Starfield, a system-hopping detective romp that I thoroughly recommend to players starting out, my eyes drifted to the United Colonies Vanguard quest I'd neglected starting two dozen hours earlier. Would the Vanguard still want my company after I'd climbed the ranks of their biggest competition? Surely they'd at least give me the stink eye as I approached the help desk dressed in full Freestar cowboy getup, I thought.
Nope. The Vanguard rep didn't give a second thought to my Ranger badge, and even brushed off the brash comments of my companion, and noted UC hater, Sam Coe. In fact, the game treated me as if my history was a blank slate, and it seems like the same goes for the rest of the Starfield factions. Starfield will let you join every team without any repercussions, so don't worry about pissing them off.
>> With that said, don't go throwing grenades to innocents. Your wife won't like it.

Boundary broken: Starfield sleuths bypass invisible walls, prove planet tiles are connected like No Man's Sky
https://www.pcgamer.com/boundary-broken-starfield-sleuths-bypass-invisible-walls-prove-planet-tiles-are-connected-like-no-mans-sky/
The invisible walls barring exploration of Starfield planets have been shattered, and players are discovering that Bethesda's space RPG has more in common with No Man's Sky than initially thought.
>> Talking about broken things. There's a bug that may launch you into space in your cockpit, but without your ship.

They found him: Bethesda's most prolific voice actor returns in Starfield
https://www.pcgamer.com/they-found-him-bethesdas-most-prolific-voice-actor-returns-in-starfield/
Bethesda loves to work with the set of voice actors in its stable, a well-tamed team of thoroughbreds who players get pretty familiar with over the course of the hundreds of hours we spend in these RPGs. (...)
Wes Johnson is the most prolific Bethesda voice actor, going all the way back to Morrowind where he played three of the Daedric Princes. (...)
Eagle-eared players have found Johnson in Starfield as well, where he plays Ron Hope, the CEO of HopeTech, who can send you on a mission that involves tracking down a thief. He's definitely in Imperial City Guard mode here rather than flip-flopping between weird Irish and Scottish accents like he does for Sheogorath, but maybe he's saving that up for The Elder Scrolls 6. Here's how to find him for yourself in Starfield.

The most interesting game I've played this week is an indie puzzle-adventure about a giant tower filled with people I can't understand
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-most-interesting-game-ive-played-this-week-is-an-indie-puzzle-adventure-about-a-giant-tower-filled-with-people-i-cant-understand/
Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3 are all the rage right now, but I'm here to tell you about something different. It's a lush indie puzzle-adventure game "inspired by the myth of Babel" called Chants of Sennaar, and it's out now on Steam.

If you've ever wanted Megan Fox to literally kick your skeleton out of your body, then boy does Mortal Kombat 1 have a fighter for you
https://www.pcgamer.com/if-youve-ever-wanted-megan-fox-to-literally-kick-your-skeleton-out-of-your-body-then-boy-does-mortal-kombat-1-have-a-fighter-for-you/
Megan Fox is now the official celebrity of videogames where demonic monsters pull people's guts out. She made her bid for the position with a bizarre Diablo 4 marketing campaign that involved her eulogising player's deaths. Now, she's stepping things up by providing her voice and likeness to Outworld vampire Nitara in Mortal Kombat 1. Look, I can't fault anyone for finding their niche.

No one say the 'S' word: Google's trying out gaming again, this time with bite-sized games on YouTube
https://www.pcgamer.com/no-one-say-the-s-word-googles-trying-out-gaming-again-this-time-with-bite-sized-games-on-youtube/
Google has begun public testing of YouTube's move into gaming, which follows years of the video platform branching out into adjacent sectors like music, TV and podcasts. The games, under the banner of "Playables", are now available to a "limited number" of YouTube users, and if you're in then you should see the new section on the homepage.
>> If you don't suceed the first time, try and try again until you do. Will they success? We'll see.
