Am I the only one who has little issue with encumbrance too? It hit me a few times at the start when I was hoarding everything but about 10 hours in, I wasn't really hitting it as often, I actually paid attention to what I was picking up, ammo uses no weight, I don't need every single crappy gun and the only really heavy stuff are spacesuits which I sold after every few missions or so with a quick trip to the vendor and resources which I dumped into my ship, Vasco and Sarah. And like, this is a Bethesda title, encumbrance has been a thing in them all. And I don't want to hear anyone complain about immersion but also complain about encumbrance as if hoarding 1,000 items isn't immersion breaking, haha.

Every since I got the 2,000+ cargo ship which can be acquired right at the start, I dumped all my resources into that, which is currently about 1,500/2,400? I barely hit encumbrance now, I have over 1 million credits and I don't pick everything up now, only ammo and things that have a colour rarity because the rest as far as I'm concerned is junk compared to my level now. It was a problem in the first few hours and a bit tedious but you just have to not pick absolutely everything up, learn to use cargo space, companion space, remember to sell after every few missions and eventually as you progress it becomes less and less of an issue fairly quickly.
