The free DLSS 3.5 Starfield mod works perfectly. There's only one big glitch in which you get a small stutter when zooming in with a sniper rifle.. and there's a little ghosting on some elements of the UI otherwise seems to work fine and essentially double fps. Not sure if Reflex is enabled with it but input lag seems decent. Which is great considering how poor it runs on most hardware. Also f that guy who tried monetising his mod with DRM lol.

Hardware Unboxed did a massive CPU comparison in that game and looks to be a very demanding on AMD CPU's. Even Zen 3 struggles in the game. Sad state of affairs in gaming when even processors from a couple years ago offer such performance. Granted Steve was using a 4090 at 1080P still Creation Engine continues to be a dinosaur.

Yea there has been a growing trend of CPUs cucking GPUs as the generation kicks into gear. And once you are CPU limited, there isn't much anything can be done to increase the frame rate and that is why Frame Generation is becoming increasingly more important. But the latency penalty will certainly be a hit unless you have Reflex on. In theory, CPU limited + Reflex shouldn't have much noticeable difference than CPU Limited + FG + Reflex since there is no way to experience a higher frame rate in that situation. So you will still get that CPU limited latency but experience much smoother frames.

We will see how FSR 3 handles this though with Anti-Lag + being exclusive to RDNA 3. As Reflex is a big part of what makes DLSS 3 viable, without Anti-Lag+, it will be interesting to see the tests on older GPUs.
