Some people just don't work well with others. Jim Cornette is a good comparison. Definitely the kind of person who doesn't let things go and known to fly off the handle. Which burned a lot of bridges in the wrestling community. But, he's doing his own thing now where he's his own boss, and he seems to be generally satisfied with his life as far as I know. Obviously, I can't speak to his innermost feelings, but he comes off that way.

So maybe being a wrestler just isn't for him at this point in his life. Sadly, I'm never gonna be a top wrestler either, but I think I can still live a happy life. And if I had AJ Lee at home, I wouldn't mind an early retirement either.

See when it comes to Jim Cornette, he annoys me because he's the guy that thinks he's ALWAYS right and things have to go HIS way all the time.

I keep hearing about Cornette and his knowledge, which to be fair I agree he does have, but the problem is that instead of teaching the next generations, he'd rather lambast them from his podcast. The older generations are meant to pass down the knowledge they have. Not horde it and complain the future generations are doing it wrong when the older generation refused to teach them the way.

You're free not to like Jim Cornette. The point was just that his personality is similar to Punk's, but he's found his niche in the wrestling world. Not being able to work for AEW or WWE isn't the end of the world.
