Some people just don't work well with others. Jim Cornette is a good comparison. Definitely the kind of person who doesn't let things go and known to fly off the handle. Which burned a lot of bridges in the wrestling community. But, he's doing his own thing now where he's his own boss, and he seems to be generally satisfied with his life as far as I know. Obviously, I can't speak to his innermost feelings, but he comes off that way.
So maybe being a wrestler just isn't for him at this point in his life. Sadly, I'm never gonna be a top wrestler either, but I think I can still live a happy life. And if I had AJ Lee at home, I wouldn't mind an early retirement either.
