I don't think ToV is debatable in quality. I mean it has Team Symphonia working on it after all. It should be great.

I think i should have worded that better.

I don't mean debatable in general quality, I meant debatable in terms of AAA or Elite quality.

Team Symphonia is AAA/Elite :P But I think I know what you mean. Mainstream quality right? Like FF or MGS?

yup, pretty much

Because of its Art Design and Style, ToV doesn't appeal to the North American market as much.

As for Tales of Symphonia, it's #10 on my Post-Snes RPG List and and #15 on my all-time RPG list, so I concur in its "Eliteness", but a lot of people will disagree.

Did you ever play Radiata Stories? It's like a Suikoden/Tales/Star Ocean hybrid.

The art design and style have nothing to do with the "Tales of" series being debatable in AAA quality. i.e. Persona 3 and FES mangaed to get 88% and 89% respectively

EDIT:DQVIII also got 90% on gamerankings and that game was cel-shaded

no, no, no

I'm not saying the Art Design has anything to do with how good the game is.

The original question is whether any of the 360 RPG's would cause Hardcore-JRPG Fans to convert over to the 360. (mainly those who are anti-xbox) My point was that only Mainstream AAA games could cause this shift (specifically in Europe and North America) and that Tales Games because of their Visual Design don't have the mass appeal needed. So no matter how good Tales of Vesperia is, it wouldn't cause a noticeable shift to the 360 from the JRPG crowd.

Which is why I think Star Ocean is their best "hope", because it is an established Franchise with the mass Visual Appeal to go with it.
