I love Baldur's Gate 3. It's one of the best games I've played this year. It might be one of the best games ever made. But lmao @ people saying things like "they released a game that's not a broken mess" as if it isn't packed full of bugs ranging from minor to game-breaking.

It's completely false to claim that Baldur's Gate 3 is the least buggy RPG in the last 10 years, it is incredibly buggy, I've seen multiple game breaking bugs being reported and losing hours on save files, it's just that it's so good that people are forgiving the bugs. Nothing new as this happens a lot and happened with most Bethesda titles too.
The hate should be directed at nobody.
People are completely missing the point of other developers but that ain't new with gamers, always want to be continuously outraged.
The goal post never shifted, it was always that the type of titles that Larian makes are niche on consoles but maybe Larian has exploded the genre in other areas which would be a good thing and could increase sales of other similar titles but that does not mean the genre wasn't niche beforehand and doesn't make anyone wrong for claiming it was niche, genres sometimes go through periods like this.
FWIW I do think BG3 will sell good on PS and I think Larian could have increased the popularity of the genre on consoles now.
