Funny enough I upgraded my PC 18 months ago, minus the GPU. So the NVME SSD is that old. I'm thinking it might have overheated as it has no protection and is right next to the GPU which I now have the 7900 XT. I'm gonna put the new one in the other slot I have and put a cover on it. Though when my PC crashed I wasn't gaming.

I think mine may of been caused by heat if I were to guess as it was back in my ITX case whilst it wasn't super hot it was a lot warmer than a standard ATX, I see the 7900XT at £699 currently that comes with Starfield Premium copy but haven't pulled the trigger as I keep thinking do I really need to spend £600 when I could just play it on the Series X but who knows what I will decide lol.

Mine dying two days after I got a new GPU can't be a coincidence. My brother built my PC so I didn't think about the heat from the GPU being right next to the SSD. Most of my stuff is backed up on one drive except for all my OBS settings and scenes which I use to stream and record videos. Having to reinstall everything and set everything back up will just be annoying.
