Shame Game Pass Core is September, Lol.
Like, I'm fine with it, but I think September could be Game Pass biggest month ever even without the artificial inflation 
I would have been interested in hearing if Microsoft had anything to say about it in the next fiscal report but now that report would also include Game Pass Core so ehh, Lol. Best we can get is individual titles player numbers but any overall Game Pass boost will be skewed by GP Core.
I also liked someone's idea here that Game Pass Core should include the older COD titles. Maybe any COD older than 3 years old or something is in GP Core but the more recent CODs are GP Console or GP Ultimate only. I think there's a huge portion of COD players who likely only have XBLG for COD only and don't give a shit about GP so feed em the older CODs but tempt them with the higher offering with the newer CODs.
