I can't imagine many people 100 inch displays.  Sometimes tech is just a gimmick.  8k is a gimmick except special situations.

Given 4k we have hit a point where panel quality is more important than resolution.  

Yeah, it looks like the greatest technological hurdle is our own humanity.   We are gonna have to upgrade ourselves in order to get any tangible benefit out of these higher res panels.
