So "soon" should be the answear. A smaller cheaper PS5, thats sold discless, and with a optional addon buy, of a disc bay via usb....
has been heavily rumored for along time now.

I suspect its going to be out, well before the holiday season.
Sony would want to capitalise on holiday sales for such a console.
