I love Street Fighter and as much as I want to put it in the Top 10, it won't due to lack of consistency, staying power, and poor current state compared to its former self. I would definitely put it in the Top 20 tho and it's really close to making the Top 10. Maybe if SF6 blows up going into the Pro Tour.
I don't even like some of these games on the list, but I'm rating it from an unbiased opinion. I do value the impact SF did to the industry, and revenue wise it doesn't even lose to modern games if we include cabinet numbers. It's also really impressive for the population back then + the size of the gaming market. However, realistically speaking it's difficult to put Street Fighter above them right now. It would've been top 10 if its status had remained on par with some of these modern franchises. It would for sure make the list if it was restricted to games before the 2000s.
