Turkey was demanding being allowed into EU...America was threatening to withhold F'16s, Turkey said that was unfair...Now Turkey is allowing things to proceed. Doesn't look like they got their EU wish but that isn't a surprise, EU is largely against Turkey joining, I think one of the few supporters of that was UK and we left, Lol.
