AMD blocking DLSS is pure speculation at this time. Personally it is a legal matter between AMD and NVIDIA concerning DLSS splash screens when booting up games. That is a stipulation that probably has to be followed if you use the tech, it is a game that AMD have helped with and is the sponsor, they should not adhere to bull crap like that. At the end of the day FSR is open source and DLSS is propriety and actions have consequences, propriety only works with the product it was designed for. Seems like a load of self-entitlement from NVIDIA buyers personally, and yet their cards still work with FSR. A load of hot air in my opinion.

How is it pure speculation when Nvidia straight up says they don't block and AMD continues to dodge the question? The HUB video that I posted shows that games that have DLSS do not require Nvidia splash screen or anything of that nature. FSR is open source sure but it's also terrible. Just because a technology is open source doesn't mean it's good and the fact that AMD has a pattern of blocking DLSS while Nvidia not only straight up said they do not block FSR but they created a open source upscaling implementation technology called StreamLine which allows developers to easily implement DLSS/FSR/XeSS into their games. Intel is on board with it yet AMD isn't.

" That is a stipulation that probably has to be followed if you use the tech, it is a game that AMD have helped with and is the sponsor, they should not adhere to bull crap like that. "

By that logic, Nvidia should start blocking FSR in all their games and then you can see who actually loses the most. FSR works on Nvidia GPUs while DLSS does not work on Radeon GPUs. So if Nvidia starts blocking FSR due to AMDs actions, Radeon fans stand to lose to most, especially as Nvidia sponsored 33 games while AMD sponsored 20 games in the same time frame according to HUB. Defenders should start looking at the bigger picture imo.
