A slew of pornographic mods on the Nexus Mods website has caused mounting anger in the voice acting community. As reported by Gamesradar, Twitter user Robbie92_ has posted a list of Skyrim voice actors who have had their voices used against their will for NSFW mods, earlier this week.
These actors include April Stewart, who in addition to multiple characters in Skyrim, is the voice of Petra Venj in Destiny 2 and Jessamine Kaldwin in Dishonoured 2; Jon Curry, who voiced Zevran in Dragon Age: Origins; and Susan Eisenberg, who has voiced Wonder Woman in both animation and video games since 2001.

In a recent news announcement, Blizzard revealed which 1,000 hopeful max-level hardcore characters will have their names written in stone, as long as they followed a few rules when they hit the level cap.

Such has been the plight for victims of Call of Duty: Warzone 2's worst bug as of late. For months players have reported instances of getting stuck in the gulag, Warzone's second chance system that lets you earn your way back to land of the living by winning a 1v1. Those affected by the bug arrive in the gulag to await their duel, but the game simply forgets you're there, trapped in Call of Duty purgatory while the rest of the match happens miles away.

Things are, somehow, getting worse in Sanctuary. Diablo 4 Season 1, aka the "Season of the Malignant," was revealed today during a livestream. The gist is that there's a curse going around, and it's turning humans and demons even more feral than usual. On the plus side, we'll be able to slot "Malignant Hearts" into gem slots for "stupid, new broken builds," says Blizzard.

The lack of religious buildings in Farthest Frontier was deliberate. "If we ever incorporate a faith system of some kind, I think it would be best if it was a customizable system where you name the faith and decide its bonuses/features," Crate Entertainment designer Zantai said at the time.
You can now dispel the "if" in that statement, because the new system is coming to Farthest Frontier in August, as revealed in a Twitch stream hosted by Zantai earlier today. In the 0.9 update, players will be able to build a massive temple in their city that will let you "customize your faith" by filling it with religious relics that give various bonuses (and in one case, a dangerous debuff) not just to local villagers but to the entire city.

One of the best co-op games you probably didn't play eight years ago is getting a sequel that's seriously upping the ante: Helldivers 2 is a third-person co-op shooter about tactically annihilating giant bugs with your best buds. Despite being one of the first companies to hop on the blockchain fever of the past couple of years, Sega now wants its major franchises to get off the crypto rollercoaster, as reported by Bloomberg yesterday. Co-Chief Operating Officer of Sega Japan Shuji Utsumi informed Bloomberg that it will keep Sega's blockbuster franchises, such as Yakuza and Sonic the Hedgehog, away from any blockchain plans to avoid "devaluing" them.

Blizzard has responded to a recent bug that dramatically increased the drop rate for Diablo's rarest and most sought-after items by temporarily clamping down hard: Until the studio can put out a patch later today, no Uber Unique items will drop in Diablo 4 at all.

Steam has removed a large clutch of games of various genres which all seem to have one thing in common: they were low effort shovelware. That might seem a slightly mean designation, but we've all seen the type of thing that this ban wave targeted. Extremely basic asset-flipped titles with popular words in the name, such as Zombie Defense TD or Play Football, out there just to try and make a few bucks from the unwary.
