Or even better than games in the genre before. In many ways, it does them worse. CP2077 is just a bigger box of slightly frostbitten old frozen dinner. It's still edible. Will fill you up but it's not good either. |
Rift Apart has by far been my favorite PS exclusive this gen. Which is why I'm double dipping when it gets its PC release by this time next month. It'll be great to see how far Nixxes will be able to push the visuals. Literally was a Pixar movie in motion with that level of emotional weight to it while including some pretty cool mechanics. What also really got me was the combat on the DualSense. Every weapon felt fun and unique on the controller. It all made sense to me after that. The game just like a modern take on a PS2 era game. And it felt great! |
Rift Apart was awesome! Might be number one or two overall for me. Wish it was a little longer though tbh. Like two hours. Loved Rivet, hopefully they make more R&C games and not just Marvel licensed content.
