I miss the days when Steam sales felt like absolute steals. Now years old games stay at full price permanently and only the occasional sale gets it near a price it ought to be for its age. Used to pick up great games for as little as a dollar; now it's a special occasion if a complete AAA game of any age reaches $20 on a big sale.

Yeah, me too. But who's to blame for that? We are.

Now don't get me wrong, publihsers weren't happy about pricing their games so low, but it was the users that abused the system that pushed Valve to end the flash deals, changing the sales forever.

I bought the Ori games, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Wasteland 3, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Remnant: From the Ashes and Cyberpunk 2077. Looking to give my new rig a workout on Cyberpunk and I've been eying the Mass Effect collection for some time. I think that's all I need though, I'm still on Diablo IV, and the news of Baldur's Gate III early release just landed as well. Now, if only the heat can calm down so I can actually stand using my PC during daytime... :P

Wow. You'll be busy for dozens of hours. Congratulations.

Absolutely this! Like, why the hell is CoD: Black Ops 2 from 2012 still a full priced $60?!?

And you're lucky that it's that "low". Most CoD games never have discounts above 50%.

The same goes true for the Square Enix developed games, that almost never get beyond 50% discounts and, the few times they do, they only go up to 60%.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
